Duncan Sheik opened for the Barenaked Ladies at
this concert, and played an awesome half an hour set. He played from both his first and new CD, and included favorites such as "She Runs Away" and "Barely Breathing." Unfortunately, he was not received warmly by the 12,000 person audience, as a majority were there for the headliner. I felt like his live sound was incredible, and was almost exactly like his CDs. I wish people would have known more about who he is, or appreciate his music more. I was slightly disappointed when he did not play "Serena," and he seemed to lose energy at one point, which is understandable when the audience is not into it. I loved him though, and would definitely go see him in concert again, hopefully as the main attraction. | ||
