Hi, ya'll- I was wondering if any of you guitar players here know what kind of guitars Duncan uses. I know he uses alvarez guitars, but there a little pricey for me and I was wondering if he uses any a little bit more moderately priced. I was also wondering what kind you guys would recommend for a beginner, nothing too cheap, but something that's got some good quality. Thanks a bunch you guys. peace- IP: Logged |

I have an Alvarez Regent that wasn't very expensive (I didn't know that Duncan used Alvarez's when I bought it...). I think it cost a couple hundred which is as cheap as a entry level guitar of decent quality is gonna get. If you don't have cash to spare, then I recommend going to a big place like Mars Music or Guitar Center instead of your local music shop. They're like the Price Club of musical instruments. Except you can get a decent guitar instead of a giant jar of mayonnaise. You'll get a quality guitar, too. It's just that you kind of sacrifice the good service and attention you get at a local shop.
