I wake up at freakin 8 8:15 to go to school, after only having 5 hours of sleep. I was up until 3am writing a 5-7 page paper on my relationship with nature...that wasn't to fun. Since today is Thursday, I have 2 classes at school (if ya'll didn't know, I started college this year! It's really exciteing!) My first class is Literature and Society, and the teacher is a nut and all she does is talk. Then I have a 30 minute break before I go to Women's Studies. That class is pretty cool. Then I'm off to turn a paper in to the Admissions Office, to find out that they have f'd up my stuff, so my fees must be paid by Monday. Anyone have $1309 I can borrow?

By this time it's almost 4 and I haven't eaten all day so I'm grumpy and I have a headache. My mom and I (yea, my mom is goin back to college too. It's not fun when she yells your name in front of like 50 million people, it's a little embarrassing) ok, we decide to go to McDonald's to grab a bite to eat. Avril Lavigne had just gone off of the radio and they start talking about a concert. I thought it was Avril, but my mom's like "Duncan's comin to concert" I'm like "riiight mom, where'd u pull that from?" "They just said it on the radio." "Umm no, they were talkin about Avril Lavigne...why are you bein gay with me I don't really feel good" the next thing I know I hear "Duncan Sheik!" so I'm like "WHAT?!?!" I call the radio station...
"Yea, I just heard you say something about Duncan Sheik on the radio, what did you say?" "He's coming to concert October 29 at Cap City Diner," when i hear him say he's coming to concert i make this really weird moaning sound, but yea, more on that later "and we are taking 10 fans to see him do an acoustic concert" "OMG! I HAVE TO GO TO THAT! You don't even understand!" "Well make me understand" I'm like "he is my FAVORITE singer, i have all his cd's, i've traveled around to see him, im obsessed with him, and there's probably a restraining order against me from him" "who is this?" "Jennifer Tomlin" and yea, we talked but that was all the good stuff. Then I get really excited and eat and get all energized, and call everyone I know to tell them the good news.

Now my mom and I are at the bank. I'm opening up a checking account and daydreaming about Duncan. Umm, nothing good happened at the bank, but it started raining and thundering really really bad.

Now we are FINALLY on our way home. This car cuts right in front of me, and I am by a semi, and it cuts right in front of the truck. There isn't even like 2 inches between him and the truck. So the car get's pushed like 2 blocks down the highway by a semi and stuff starts flyin all over the road so we pull off and call 911 and all that shiznit. So we have to pull over turn around blah blah blah....

This bring's me to where I am now. We are back on track to our way home, and then I hear, "yea you just said something about Duncan Sheik on the radio, what did you say?" and yea it was me. It was really embarrassing and stuff. The DJ was like, "I REALLY hope that girl wins!"
