Does anyone know if Duncan likes Depeche Mode, New Order or the Cure?

I definitely hear a New Order influence in "On a High".

I have a feeling that Duncan likes Depeche Mode. On his "Humming Along EP," Duncan does a cover version of Depeche Mode's "Blasphamous Rumours." I'm not sure about Duncan's feelings about New Order and the Cure, although I have a feeling that Duncan likes both groups. I could be wrong though.

CURE... hellz, yeah! I saw 'em twice back in 2000. I even cut school and waited something like 6 hrs in the snow/slush/rain just to get tickets to a NYC club date. Rockness.

The second time I saw 'em, it was an "evening with The Cure" no opening band. It was too cool, the show stated at 8 and they were on the stage at 8:01. I was immensly impressed. 3 hrs and 3 encores later, I went home beaming. An amazing concert. It goes down as one of my best by far. Oooh. and this particular show was supposedly their last in the US becuase they were suppose to "dis-band."

Fellow NYers: anyone catch this performance at Jones Beach in the summer of '00?

I guess a name like "galore4" I guess you would like the Cure. I missed that concert (I live in New York). Caught Depeche Mode last year @ Jones Beach though.

Awww, you caught my name reference! Yay, 'blue! You rock.

I wanted to see Depeche Mode when they came to Jones Beach but couldn't make it. I must admit, I only got into other tunes by them after Duncan covered Blashmaphous Rumors. I remember so vividly going to my local library and taking out the Depeche Mode greatest hits album. Man, how much of a geek was I. Haha.

How was that show??

Maria
