Coldplay rocks! Their second album is soooo delicious. (The first album is delicious too, natch)

Who else on here has heard the album (early)? Go check it on amazon. It's love at first listen.

Thanks for the link, Cici I don't know what excites me more; the release of Daylight, or the release of A Rush of Blood to the Head. It's a tough call indeed. Aimee Mann also has a new CD coming out on the 27th, and she is a favorite of mine. My wallet is going to be empty after all this good music comes out

Peace,
Sam

The concert was sooo unbelievable - definiately a last chance to see Coldplay in a venue like that. Just to give you an idea about how hard it was to get tickets - Elijah Wood came & asked my cousin (who was with me) if she had an extra ticket! It was crazy! The place was packed & they played a wonderful set. They came back for an extra encore & they were just soooo amazing! It's going to be hard for me to decide it I want to listen to Duncan or Coldplay's new album first on Tuesday :^) Although, I bet they'll proably play the new Coldplay tomorrow at my work (record store). But, everyone should buy this album! Just trust me on this one!!

This is a fantastic album! I really enjoy it! What are all your favorite songs? I think "In My Place", "Whisper" and "Warning Sign" are my favorites. I also like "Politik".

Coldplay is amazing; I haven't gotten the new cd yet, but I love "In my place" and just judging from that, as well as all of the positive feedback I'm seeing, I know that it must be a great cd.

Hey, I listened to it early this morning. I really like it... very soothing, slow.......
not sure if I like it better than the Debut though. They are very cool. Sorry I missed them in Philly this time around.

A good interview... at VH1
http://www.vh1.com/artists/news/1456997/08122002/coldplay.jhtml

BTW.... the new CD is just smashing.
I think I may like it better than the Debut.
Oh, track #9..... I just love that guitar riff. (That beat and rhythm is so powerful)

Yes, I'm so excited their new CD is out, I heard them play a few new songs the last time they came to Chicago, and I've been waiting for a while for a new release. I can truly say it has been well worth the wait!!!

...rocked Boston this week! This was the third time I saw 'em. Even though the first time I was front row this show still f'en rocked. I must say, Chris has the music puslating thru his veins when he sings, I swear. He's simply amazing on stage. So dynamic and awe inspiring. I'm incredibly smitten, can you tell? Plus, who can resist a piano driven Nelly tune?

"It's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes?"

Not this gal. Ooo la la.

LOL. I bought Duncan's "Daylight" CD, Coldplays's "Rush of Blood to the Head," and Aimee Mann's "Lost in Space," all at the same time the week they came out. The total for this purchase came to under $40 at a Chicago area Wal-Mart. (I was on vacation at the time).
Needless to say, I had some excellent tunes to listen to on the flight home.

Ah! I'm so glad that everyone is singing the praises of AROBTTH! It is already one of my top 5 albums of ALL TIME! I cannot believe how amazing this album it is, espically considering it only the band's second album. I think this group will definiatly go well above and beyond the expectations of the critics. I hope everyone on the boards owns this album - if not, go get it! You will NOT regret it, PROMISE!

we live in a beautiful world,
Caitlin
