I was just looking thru the "Best movie" post, and like the top 6 or so posters are all girls. How many guys are there here that like Duncan? I don't see very many guys who even know Barely Breathing, much less the artist.

I love the foreigners. And the United State-ites, too. And there are a few guys who haven't responded to this topic because they only post in the other forum. The General one. I think what the thing about all the top posters being girls means is this: we have way too much time on our hands. The guys for quality not quantity...erm. well, some of them do. hehehe.-steph IP: Logged |

Yeah, for those of you in Texas.... Has this year been much more humid than normal? This is the third summer for me and the other two were not so humid. IP: Logged |

this summer we have had only one day of low humidity (my good hair day)- every other day was humidity from hell. i hate to be the one to break this to you... but, uh, this is the norm. TEXAS... the armpit of the world. unbelievable heat- horrid humidity- air so thick you think you should be able to see it. it seems to get worse each year, but that could just be my imagination- i never really noticed it as a child (there was always the ice cream man to take my mind off the heat) and well, my car's a/c went out the other day, so there is no denying the misery of this awful weather. cheers! Yes, Fred, and I'm pretty disappointed to find all THIS here instead!!! ![]() Maybe being 24 rocks, but it seems you've already forgotten the sweet pleasures of being 22... [This message has been edited by sunday's child (edited July 11, 2002).] IP: Logged |

Richard? You are only 24? You sounded like a wise old soul that was my age! Now I really feel old. Being 24 was a heck of a lot more fun than 36! But, 36 is more fun than 16. ![]() Brenda in Florida IP: Logged |

Brenda: I will tell you that I've come to know a lot of wise people in my short life, and thankfully, I was able to learn something from them. There's still a lot to learn though, so I'm hoping to meet some more wise people along the way. Right now, I've gotten to know some pretty wise people right here on this board! ![]() I will admit that 24 is a great age, but I have a birthday in September so I don't know whether or not I should be looking forward to 25. To think, I'm five years away from turning 30. Time does fly, doesn't it? Richard [This message has been edited by BryterLayter77 (edited July 12, 2002).] IP: Logged |
