Im disturbed at the fact that both Ben Afflect and Matt Damon are BOTH in CIA movies this summer. Afflect in the Clancy story The Sum Of All Fears and Damon to appear later this summer in The Bourne Identity. Did we get stuck in a time-space loop? Is time moving out of order? Am I really dead?!! Or maybe...Afflect and Damon are really...THE SAME PERSON!!! (dramatic music). Damons forehead is set at an unnaturally high level. it could be a mask.

Why are NSYNC STILL POPULAR??!!!! Hasnt their time run out for christ's sake. I mean...JESUS! (Or Buddha in my case. Hell, by now, id like to have a word with Zeus. Something must be done) What more can I give??!!

How can any human being screw up the legacy of Star Wars? All you had to do was do nothing. And people would have loved you more and more little Lucas. Do nothing. Please save us all from Star Wars III. I cant take Ewan's brillo facial hair anymore. Jackson figured it out. C'mon.

Sick of Ben & Matt - only decent thing they've done is Dogma.

NStink will be popular as long as there are little girls who think they're cute, and judging by my 7th & 8th graders, they're on their way out the door. Don't let it hit you in the ass on the way out, fellas!

Episode 2 & Spiderman, haven't seen 'em. Waiting for summer vacation. Am prepared to love both of them, though, as I've seen all the original Star Wars movies in the theaters and appreciate them for what they are: escapism. Have loved Spidey for countless years - ever since the Electric Company (anyone old enough to remember that PBS show?) did Spiderman skits.

And why stop at England. God bless the entire U-goddamn-K for all their contributions. Except for Robbie Williams. They have some serious apologizing to do there.

And while we're on the topic, Bono should concentrate on peace in Ireland. If he wants a lost cause, there it is. Bono, me friend, just pray to St. Jude, because it's going to take a serious case of divine intervention to solve those problems. And then, if St. Jude comes through, the Protestants & the Catholics will only have one more thing to fight about.

Memorial day was one big veg-fest. Did nothing, saw no-one, ate a lot, watched the tube. Geared up for the last 2 weeks of teaching middle school (hormone-crazed monsters vibrating with anticipation of the end of their yearly confinement).

At least Matt Damon isn't taking every script that comes his way. Affleck is shelling out films like a litter of kittens. So I was very surprised to see Spiderman with my kid and NOT see Ben Affleck in the starring role. It doesn't help that I don't think Affleck is a very good actor. What ever happend to "quality" over "quantity"? It's like a 50/50 chance that I'll turn up at any film and see Affleck in it.

Star Wars? No comment. I hated the first film so much I walked out. Sorry - I just don't get it. So I apologize that I commented when I didn't mean to....

God bless England since the first British invasion in 1964. Except for the Spice Girls. And the stream of one-hit wonders through the 1980's. And the Rolling Stones. I STILL believe Keith Richards died in 1985 and they just prop his corpse up on stage.

I have no problem with Bono and US politicians. Perhaps they'll get more accomplished than US politicians do with other US politicians.

It's never been difficult for me to dislike George doublya. It means I can get a good laugh while watching the weekly news and not have to wait for Saturday Night Live. But it makes for a good SNL as well.

Did Condit kill Levy? I've always said no. But the media pressure that exposed him for the snake he is, and stripped him of his congressional seat, was very well deserved. I'm beginning to wonder how many not quite-so-innocent interns have fallen victim to the "I'm powerful therefore I'm a sex god" false pretense of over-inflated political egos.

In my opinion, Ben Affleck needs to stay close to Kevin Smith. "Chasing Amy" was a great film and it didn't have any bomb explosions something, I think, Ben relies on for star status.
Matt Damon was so awesome in "The Talented Mr.Ripely", I'll forgive him for all the other lame films.

Confession: I actually bop to NSync's "Girlfriend" whenever it's on the radio. But that's it, I'm not a fan. They are robots of the music industry.

Thank England for David Bowie and the Sundays, too.

Eminem entertains me at first and then I lose interest. He needs to get past his image, it's tired.

Spiderman was one helluava movie!

But my beef with movies is the so-called "chick flicks" that are so horribly predictable and cheesy. Did anybody see "The Wedding Planner"? What a horrible hour and a half! Why are most lame romantic comedies considered "chick flicks"? I mean "The Godfather" is considered a guy's movie. I can see why for the obvious reasons like, all the talk about being a man. But it's a good movie. Well made, beautiful cinematography, and memorable lines. It's not fair. All I can rely on is "Sex and the City".

It doesn't matter who's our president, when it comes to politics, it's all about the benjamins that's what bothers me.

Memorial day was all about nostalgia. I kept thinking about the days when I was a small fry.

The reason why it seems like England rules with the music is that the kids there are in school forever. Plus, the way the whole culture is set up too. In a weird way their anger and rebellion is actually a little bit more intelligent (see The Who, etc., etc.) than the U.S. (see Limp Bizkit, Korn, etc.)'s kids. Weird. but I'm probably wrong.

Yes, the Sundays rule. Will they ever release another album????

WITCHBLADE

What the fuck????!!!!!

I sorta watched the first season. A female cop in NYC found a bracelet on her arm which was the WITCHBLADE and the whole season was her figuring out what it was and getting a handle of its powers. Then TNT gets me all excited about SEASON 2. 2 HR. MOVIE! Cant wait. Then sunday comes. i watch the movie. And it season one!!!! Sorta. It was the first season with some people who died in the first season were now alive and no one except the bad guys knew what it was. Did they go back in time? The creators better not be trying to rewrite the story. Because it cant be done and I will get too frustrated trying to figure out what now applies and what doesnt, ill throw my herbal tea across the room.
