Hey guys,
I just heard that the Queen Mum of England has passed away! This, for some strange reason breaks my heart. She died in her sleep at age 101, and I know that she will be missed. Much love and aloha~ Molly

Yes. That was sad. I saw that when I turned on my computer and my homepage is CNN.com. My friends were like "What? Does that mean Prince Charles is going to be king now? Who's the Queen mum? What? What? What?"
But yes, I've read about her life and she seemed like a great lady.

Who is the Queen Mom? What kinda question is that, do your friends live in a bubble Steph? Or perhaps in Canada we are just more aware of the monarchy (I mean out side of the tabloidesque aspect of them), after all we do have Elizabeth on our money (she is the Queen, as in Queen Elizabeth the second)Her mother, who passed was no longer the Queen, therefore it means Charlie is still going to be waiting, I actually do nto think Charlie will ever be King, more likely to be Wills.

And I am not sure how sad it is when someone dies at 101, it is expected, it is hardly tragic. Not to say she will not be missed, and she was certainly the last of the old style royals.

The Queen is still alive. This was her mom that died.
