Well, since everyone else has a movie topic out there, I'll just have to start one of my own. Did anyone else go and see it. I only went because my one friend wanted to see it, and the fact that I love the book and the guy that wrote the book. It wasn't that bad. As long as you take it as a seperate idea from the book. Mandy Moore didn't to that bad of a job either, considering. I won't spoil it for those who want to see it, and haven;t yet. I saw a Walk To Remember. Mandy Moore is not a bad actress. She's not the greatest. But it could be a lot worse. Jenn, I think any sane, straight girl with eyes enjoys Shane West. IP: Logged |

I'm not going to see it ever. If I want to see Shane West (and hopefully without a bandaide in the middle of his forehead) I can see him on "Once and Again".  Oh yeah, and those commercials for this movie make me sooooo sick!!! ok, that is all.  -stephanie IP: Logged |

Steph, you watch Once and Again? I love that show so much, but have been so disappointed that they tend to push it around in the scheduling (or at least they do up here). And I saw Shane on a talk show, oh yeah Rosie, and he was saying they are on hiatus and are not going back to work until April or something, but the network is supposedly committed to the show, but when they come back plan on moving it from Friday to Monday (I believe he said Monday). I really hope it does not become one of those disapearing shows. IP: Logged |

I saw the movie, I kinda liked it, but kinda didn't....it was weird. But yea, Shane is a hottie! And Mandy is an ok actress, it was weird seeing her on "the big screen". IP: Logged |

Correct me if I am out there, but I heard two critics I really enjoy and agree with say that mandy Moore's acting was very much like Mariah's in glitter, and that you can actually tell she is trying to act. IP: Logged |

Come on don't dis Britney, do her beautiful touching videos not already display were endless acting talents...Like the part in "Opps I did it again" when she talks to the space guy, she sounds like she left her brain on Earth, I can just imagine an hour and a half of her whiney voice. IP: Logged |

mandy moore in "A Walk to Remember?" why didn't they get somebody else? i don't like mandy moore, never will. she's so sickeningly sweet (here, we call that pa-tweetums, kind of like too sweet that ants would probably crawl all over her). and her cutesy act isn't cute at all. britney? all her virginity talk is just crap & hypocrisy. nway, i just don't like "pop" stars. they drive me nuts when i hear them. i finally watched this movie, but only the first half. i got so pissed when they changed the storyline. i read the book already, and i can say the movie didn't do any justice to nicholas sparks. his books were so good they can really make you cry. his movies were bad. i don't know if they're trying to just commercialize his movies. if they are, then they should just forget about it. commercialized movies are just gonna destroy authors and their great books. and mandy moore wasn't even a decent actress, she was just trying to act. shane west, now he was good. i think he's the only actor there who gave some life to the movie. Just a note about Once and Again. I remember reading somewhere that this is a last chance kind of thing by moving it to Monday nights. Hopefully, it will do better on Mondays. I think that Friday time slot is not good for ratings. Unfortunately, ratings are the only thing that keeps a series on the air, whether it's quality or not. I think the article mentioned a website for fans that were interested in keeping it on the air, listing addresses to write to, etc. I'll try to find out more info and post again. IP: Logged |
