Rob,

I'm glad to hear that you finished reading the Anthology, and that you enjoyed it. Right now, I'm on 1966, but I haven't read it in over a week because I've been polishing parts of my thesis and doing research for it.

I just can't believe you told me how the book ends, very cruel man. Very cruel.

Best,

Richard

Boy you read fast If you're in 1966!!

Well, I hope everything is going well for you bud. Good luck on your thesis!

Rob,

Thank you for the kind wishes on my thesis. I should start writing my third chapter this weekend.

Being a history major, you become a fast reader with all the reading material required. The Anthology book is something I read for the fun of it, and it doesn't take that long when I get involved in the book.

I read the other day that they're going to re-release George Harrison's autobiography, "I Me Mine." Once all the school work is done, it looks like I'll go out and buy that book. It should be good reading.

Here, I will include a joke, since you asked me to share one with you. I hope you enjoy. This joke is a bit tame, but if you want jokes that push the envelope a bit, just let me know!

One day, there was a Russian, an American, and a blonde sitting around talking. The Russian said, "We were the first in space."

"We were the first on the moon," replied the American.

Looking puzzled, the blonde said, "We'll be the first on the sun!" The Russian told the blonde that you can't land on the sun because the landing party would burn.

With a look of superiority and know-how, the blonde said, "We're not that stupid, you know. We're going to land when it gets dark."

And so you have it!

Peace,

Richard

Okay, Rob, let's see what you think of this joke.

In Scotland, the most important time for a young lad is when he "comes of age" and is allowed to purchase and wear his first kilt.

A couple of weeks before, his important birthday, a young lad went to a tailor shop and found the material he wanted for his first kilt. He took the material to the tailor and said, "I'd like ye to make me a kilt with this material here and, if ye don't mind, I'd like ye to make me a pair of matching underwear for it. I hear it gets a might drafty up dem tings!"

So the tailor took the material and promised to call the young lad when the order was completed.

A few days later, the tailor called the lad back to the shop. "Here's ye kilt, and here's ye matching underwear, and here's five yards of the material left over. Ye might want to take it home and keep it in case you want anything else made of it."

So the lad rushed home with his order, threw the material in his room, and donned his kilt. In his excitement, he decided to run to his girlfriend's house to show off his new purchase.

Unfortunately, in his excitement, he forgot to don his underwear.

When his girlfriend answered the door, he pointed to his kilt and said, "well, what'd ye think?"

"Ah, but dat's a fine looking kilt," she exclaimed.

"Aye, and if ye like it, ye'll really like what's underneath," he stated as he lifted his kilt to show here.

"Oh, but dat's a dandy," his girlfriend shouted admiringly.

Still not realizing that he didn't have his underwear on he exclaimed quite proudly, "aye, and if ye like it, I've got five more yards of it at home!"

Finally, Rob, I'll let you know when I'm finished the Anthology, so you can ask me your question. I should have it finished in the next couple of weeks.

Best,

Richard

Rob,

I thought I could wait the couple of weeks to finish the Anthology, but I can't. You have me really curious about the question you want to ask me, so ask away.

There are some things I probably don't know about the Beatles, but the Anthology book is just an unedited transcript of the Anthology videos (with the book including statements that were left on the cutting room floor).

Looking forward to hearing, and trying to answer, your question.

Peace,

Richard

Rob: Since you've been posting frequently within the past week, I thought I would let you know that I finished reading the Anthology today. You can ask your question now.

Yep, Rob, that's my e-mail. Please, though, don't send me any porn.

On a serious note, take your time with the question. You will probably remember the question when you're not thinking about it. That's how things work most of the time. At any rate, it might be better off that you don't remember the question. I don't have the Anthology with me at school, but I will have access to it when I return home on Thursday evening.

Richard
