There in the day, night nearing so close.
Why have I come to see this peace within me??

The majesty, the nobleness of day.
In my speaking, I will tell you all within.

Standing quietly, listening to the world around.

A baby cries, wind blowing by, in my eyes the clouds moving, the gentleness of day.

The quiet of night.
The children so yearning.

~~~~~~~~~ What follows was written after September the 11th. Part 2, so to speak. The entire piece was written RE: the Dharma.

Time passes, months slip by.

The beauty of your words, even now cannot take away the pain inside.

Evil destruction, ruins lay in a City of Miss. Liberty.

Senseless dying, crys of hope.

See the smoke so blinding, yet inside a peace conquers me.

It is the knowing that I am not afraid.

So very hard to understand, don't ever try.

Some Men are merely beasts.

Still I cry in sadness, in disbelief.

My eyes show me the truth.

My heart mirrors yet the goodness of our souls, the hundreds of Martyrs who have come to call.

Life seems to stop- as we know.

Only asking us to look deeper within to get to know.

There is a stillness, a quiet place I can go.

It's now with me everywhere I go.

It's gentle and loving, would not want to hurt a soul.

So I share with you my friends this love within.

I am not afraid, it does not matter for I have inner peace.

Questions of Faith come and go, but strength, clarity and peace always let me know.

We see through the same eyes.

We mourn, we cry, we go on to inspire hope and what is just in an unjust world.

Little by little everyday I am closer to you.

In spirit, in soul, in vision, in breath, in sleep, upon eating, when running, when walking.

I call on you, but know you are here within me.

No need to look any farther.

The winds may blow and the world will have to see, that peace must come from each of us individually.

We look to blame others, when the problems lie within.

Until we see clearly, no peace can we live.

I join you in giving, in understanding-in trying to comfort these many souls.

If only a smile, a hug to let everyone know.

It is the essense of your existence that has touched us so.

Man should look at a child, a flower and bow down so.

All this anger must go.

We all share this world and yet most are too unwilling to understand, that peace comes from within.

I call on everyone at this hour of need,
to be gentle with your neighbors.

Do not be quick to anger, but compassionate.

Treasure this Life we are living.

Each day is a blessing and even the slightest life has value.

Appreciate eachother and give of yourself.

Never stop giving.

Through Love and Caring we may learn to see the brightest light and see beyond the smoke which has filled our skys today.

This very Freedom which we have been given, need not be taken away.

Each individual has a right to be.

It is my hope that this peace, this love, this joy inside, someday may fill your hearts.

I am thankful for seeing all that you have shown me and in knowing, I have found my way.

It's very sad what happened to him.

I just want to say that none of us know what may happen in a day, so lets make sure to make the very best of each and every day. Let's make sure to try and live our lives to their fullest and go after our dreams in everything we do each and every day. Let's be true to ourselves and our hearts.

********************************************* Let me write of the Peace that is very close to all of us. It may not seem apparent at this moment to you, but speaking from experience I can tell you that it is close at heart to us all. What it is is this calmness that comes over you, an inner contentment if you may. Ah, I remember where I was...... You are here with me, very close and not distant at all. This inner peace is all encompassing. There is a clarity about it which is hard to explain. Once you feel it, realize it...you understand. Where does it come from? How you may ask? Well the funny ting is, it comes from within you, but you have to look a bit harder to find it. It's not in the material things. It's in the breeze that passes us by. (so to speak) It's in the simplest of things. I've said it before. You may be asking yourself, "What the @&%$ is she talking about? If you are one of those people, then please have a closer look into your own heart. It comes from our Mind and heart. We should try to do good things, kind acts. Try to be gentle and not be mean to anyone. It's very hard at times, because we are tried constantly and we just feel like cursing or saying something mean. Stop Yourself. Be aware that it's just not necessary. We get so much more throough kindness. Now this awareness within ourselves is almost kind of sensual in feeling, because it's so real and chilling when you feel it. At times Yes, it is clearer than at other times....Like Now. Please believe in your Faith and in yourselves. Know that the darkest times, bring the brightest Light. It is these times that try us so very hard. All we need is to believe in ourselves. Others, well their a little gold along the way. Smile at a stranger. Be kind. If you can share this with someone who feels the same way...that's even better.(even though they may not always be with you or near physically)Yes our inner peace is found in the simplest of things and in the kindness of our souls. Don't doubt yourself ever. Don't let anyone take that away, ever. No one can take away the greatest we all have in our hearts and the love we have to share in this world. Be true to yourself and be aware that you are evrything you need to be first.... to bring happiness into your lives. It's starts with you...and from there grows and grows and grows....don't be fooled when things get rough. That's just bull...trying to get in the way. Be real today and learn to love, share your kindness and share your heart. The peace will come back to you a thousand fold more times.... it's there now inside you. You will know when you let yourself feel this peace. You will know. And you will have to look no further.
