Ken~ Did you go to the Del Mar Fair at all? I didn't go at all this year. It's my new personal goal to never go to the fair. (Stupid cheap, easily breakable rides!) Well, we went and sat at my grandparents place and they're right across the street from the fair so we watched them from their balcony. But my cousin and uncle went and stayed for the big ending with the guy, trying to, jump over like 22 cars. And well, lets put it this way, he ran into a wall. (Geez, what some people will do for attention!) Well, just wondering if you went or saw the crazy San Diego motorcyclist. How was your evening? Peace Jennie ![]() IP: Logged |

hey, a thread with my name on it, wacky! Nah, didn't go to the fair this year, but with kids, I probably will go at some point again....we're working long days at my job right now, while at home I was painting trim and generally getting ready for some relatives to visit, so not much time for that. I did see the motorcyclist footage on the news, man, that was terrible. [This message has been edited by kenmeyerjr (edited July 05, 2001).] IP: Logged |

I don't know if I can come. I'd love to. You work is so wonderful! Well, last I heard the poor guy was still alive, which is better than the alternative! Well, I have to go, but have fun! Talk to you later, over and out!! Peace Jennie ![]() IP: Logged |

awwww, thanks, jennie. good to hear that guy survived, the way they were talking about it on the news didn't sound too good. And believe me, that con has alot of wacky things for you to look at. IP: Logged |

Yeah, been watching a it of news now and then and he's alive. Not too well, but still alive. Last I heard he could move his fingers and toes, but that's about it. Poor guy. All sorts of people are wanting him to recover and do it again which is kind of stupid concidering he is near dead, and could still die, right now! But oh well. So what's new with you? ah, man, my days have been full...working 12 hour days at work, picked up sister from georgia and her family at the airport at about 11 pm last nite, worked on the area around the new (as in a few days) above ground pool, had my daughter's one year birthday party today, tried to audition for the weakest link show, but didn't have enough time....I'm tired, you? Congrats to your daughter! My brother's coming out in August, along with the other 5 members of his family! Oh what fun! LOL! I love them all, but I hate having to get ready. Cleaning and shopping...not my idea of fun. I am going to call it a night soon, because I am dead tired too. I don't have terrible hours or anything, but between summer classes and everthing else happening in the world, well you get the drift. Plus I'm one to become easily side-tracked! awwwww, jenn, thanks....never can get enuf compliments from smart young thangs! IP: Logged |

Thank you sir, although if you had said smart sexy young things, I would flatter you for life, but since you every looked sexy you only get the odd compliment, but since the compliments are coming from me they are bound to be odd. IP: Logged |

hahah, hey, that wasn't so odd, but I had trouble deciphering your last post.....every what? I think you said I was sexy, which I certainly appreciate! And, I can't say you're sexy, because I don't know what you look like (tho, there is obviously more to it than that!)...so, is my foot firmly in my mouth or what? IP: Logged |

I was talking in circles again, opps. I am such a doofus. I did not say you were sexy, I said you were a hottie, two very different things, one can be very attractive and not have the least bit of sex appeal, yet one can also be not so attractive and be very sexy. Richard Gere, not a good looking man, but very sexy. Ricky Martin is attractive but not sexy. Make any sense? If not I can put it into Hollywood Chick terms as well. Angelina Jolie is sexy, but not stereotypically good looking, whereas Pamela Anderson is attractive, but skanky, not sexy. I can not say you are sexy, either, so you're just a hottie (don't let it go to your head okay, it is a term of endearment for me). Some people can mange to be sexy and attractive, although the list is limited, making the combination a rare and special treat, Matthew Perry, Duncan, me (okay so I joke). What I was trying to say before was this: you said " never can get enuf compliments from smart young thangs", so the point to what I was saying is if you had added sexy in there I would compliment you all the time, but since you had not, you would have to suffice with the occasional compliment. hey ken- i had to go visit your site again- the new pic is great, but i must admit, my most favorite part of your site is the sketch book. i think that is totally cool. you don't often get to see those first sketches- we (the public) usually only get to catch the final product. i think that it is super cool that you are sharing the process from beginning to end. you go boy! cheers! -gee gee IP: Logged |

Hey Ken, Did you notice that the strand with your name on it is officially a "hot" thread? IP: Logged |

Why, thank you, Ken. Have I mentioned lately how brilliantly funny you are? You are so talented and handsome, I have never met a man more wonderful in my entire life. Now I have to go wash my lips from kissing your ass. Actually I am so stressed out right now, I am not sure if I am going to kill someone or just cry. And there are three more hours left, I keep repeating the phrase "nothing bad will happen" and am trying not to think of how bad I want a cigarette. IP: Logged |

resist, jenn, resist the evil weed! Remember I offered a free print to those two who mentioned they had quit smoking? Not that much of an incentive, I'll admit, but it's there! And thank you for all the sincere compliments...watch your step and don't forget your waders! And don't cry, feel free to talk here, I'm sure there are many including myself who will help if we can! bod, thanks! I am now officially a hot thread! Whooo hoooo! and, gee, thanks to you too, glad you like the sketchbook....I need to add more, but I haven't actually done much sketchbook work lately...or if I have, it's for work and it's all proprietary, so I can't show it yet. thanks to all! hahhah, spring, thanks, what an ego booster this thread is, we should start one for everyone! and why would think I was so hot, spring....is it merely because my envelope is burning? Now, that is a weird statement..... IP: Logged |

I am so grumpy and tired and in need of a fruity drink on a sandy beach, or a hug. I actually started balling at work today, one of the owners asked me to do something that I did not know how to do, so I told him it was best if he ask the person that handles such things, a few minutes later he calls me up and started yelling at me, never to say no to him again, and that when he asks me to do something I should just do it, because he is a busy man. I said to him "I am sorry but I did not know how to do what you asked." He continued yelling at me and told me that he was just going to have to talk to someone else about me. So I said that is fine and hung up and then of course started crying. One of the general managers I get a long with very well, he tells me all his troubles and I nod, anyway he asked my co-worker why I was so upset and then went and told my boss I should not have to deal with someone talking to me like that, my boss did not say anything, and I still feel shitty and hours later am still doing that sniffle catch my breath thing. And I was so upset I did not eat lunch and now I am soooo hungry. We can talk about you again, I just wanted to get that off my chest. IP: Logged |
