Hey Everyone,

I'm back from my trip and all went fairly well in Hamburg, London and Paris. I can't wait to play some shows there, hopefully in July. By the way, sorry about the TV Guide chat debacle. It is going to happen for real on April 16th. And thanks for all your sensible reactions to bobbo (whoever our gramatically challenged friend may be) That kind of stuff is strange indeed.
I'll be in Minnesota tomorrow so I hope to see some of you there!

Cheers,
Duncan

Duncan,

Glad you're back in the states. Tell everyone up there Amber and Lisa say hi! That's our home turf. Luckily we've been away long enough to have lost the goofy accents LOL.

Can't wait to see the Alexandria, VA show.

I had a good laugh on that one, Duncan. Gramatically challenged, indeed. I couldn't understand any of her posts. Can't wait to see you in Chicago!!!

Sadly, grammatically challenged and strange indeed. It is doubly sad if any of this person's posts may have turned away potential future Donuts accessing your boards and expecting a welcoming climate, which was present until just recently. Hopefully, your upcoming "grand tour" will spark more interesting and thoughtful discussion from this point on. Glad that your European jaunt was enjoyable... see you in Ferndale.

hey-

i don't know if you read messages posted in any of the other rooms, but you can get some good "boboo" laughs - reading some of the stuff in the other rooms. i once said- that which doesn't kill us, only makes us STRANGER... i think boboo took that one to heart - poor thing... keeps me giggling, snickering & snorting though.
cheers!

Angee- I am appointing you a deputy in my "Penny Horse Posse". Please head to a local chain store immediately, hop on one of the mechanical horses and gallop off into the sunset. I'll catch up to you around Tombstone...

miss horses-

i would like to be a deputy, but can i be Wonder Woman instead. she fights crime too, you know. I can fly my invisible jet.

sorry, that is a running joke with some of my close friends. they call me Wonder Woman - busy, busy single mom - doing it all - all the time. i am Wonder Woman for Halloween every year because of this - i have a bad ass patent leather outfit - Lasso of Truth and all.... so if i join your posse, and become a Deputy, can i be Deputy Wonder Woman? i already have the outfit, and even though i do live in texas, i wouldn't know where to shop for western clothes...

giggle-giggle-snicker-snort-blush!

cheers!

duncan,
Its good to know that your back! Im glad everyone approached this confused person so maturely, espc. angee. You rule girl! But everyone here rules. I just want you to know how great everyone is on these boards. You spawned a common love for all of us to get to know eachother and share. That which is your music. My dream is to make music that brings as much joy to people as you do. Keep a look out for me because I know what I was put here to do. Maybe when I get established in the music world we can do a collaboration. We really should! I always wish that in some way you would listen to my music, but who knows!

Duncan, I know everyone is just as excited as I am to know you're back...we really missed you! Glad to hear everything went well on the trip. I'm going to take a road trip with a friend in May to come hear you play in Fort Worth, TX. I'm so excited, never seen you perform before, and I can't wait, so just thought I'd let you know I'll be in the audience! Also looking forward to the TV Guide chat next week. Trust me, I'll be logged on, hehe. Well, hope to hear from you again soon, keep on keepin on!

Just found that you had your own site, so thought I would check it out....it's pretty cool! You were just in Europe, well we probably passed one another on the autobahn, I'm sure!! Really, I have been in Europe for four years and though there is great music hear, some of it is a little "much" for my taste. It would be lovely if you were to come back to Germany (I am near Munich) to play. It would definately be a show to see. Take care and keep making wonderfully relaxing, peaceful music.

Tchuss!! Kina

Great show in Minneapolis. The stripped down set-up lended some nice colorings to some of the tunes.

Also, thank you for taking the time to sign stuff after the show.

Hi Duncan,
So very happy you are back near us.
I have been away for a few days. My Father passed away just over 4 days ago. I had him in my home taking care of him for almost 2 months straight. (Day and night) He was almost 86. He did not like your music. I explained my feelings regarding your music and played it for myself throughout this time none the less. I'm sure he knew it by heart. It provided comfort and peace within my soul. I am so very grateful. I will be seeing you in Philadelphia soon. I hope to be somewhere very close up front to see you. I'm sure Europe must have been great. It's so wonderful to see a musician wholeheartedly caring about his fans and fellow artists; not to mention of course his music as well. It must be comforting to know that in this world today- so much peace is being shared between you and your listeners. Thank you. Lets share thoughts sometime.

Goodnight Duncan, Michele

(This is my first time here! Nice!) I just found out that Duncan is going to be very close to me, in concert, in two days. Unfortunately I'm just a few months too young to get into the Magic Bag. Extremely disappointed. Thinking of finding a fake ID. Duncan, don't hold anymore concerts at 18 and older joints. I desperately want to see you in concert

glad to see your touring again, Duncan. and i love the new album. i have the first one also and am surprised at the difference between the two-- you know, gloomy clouds vs. sunshine. you should head to tallahassee, fl sometime. we've some decent venues and some not so decent. check it out, sometime.

see you around the bend

HI! well this is the 16 year old that wanted you to do more all-ages shows....i saw you at the Fineline in MN!! Well i had to use a fake I.D. and was lucky to get in. I was standing right next to the door you use after you get off stage and almost had a heart attack when you walked by. I saw a bunch of other chicks following you but i decided to leave you alone. Just wanted to let you know, even though you didn't know i was there....it meant the absolute world to me being able to see you sing. Thank you so much again for your music and i can't wait to see you again! Faithful Listener, Laura

Duncan,

The trip was only "fairly" well?
Promoting is probably a drag.

But the European food more than makes up for it, right?

Glad your back. Can't wait to see your show in Norfolk.

Hello Duncan,

Your rock'in again! Congrats on your new work. I am so proud of you! Great website too. I am so excited you are touring again. I saw you in Portland last year. Do you remember your great fan who knows C. Stiles? I have since ventured to beautiful San Francisco. I will try to see you in Portland, OR again and most definitely in San Fran.

I met Jeff Buckley's mom this year. We talked about, "A Body Goes Down." She says wonderful things about you and loves the song.

Life is wonderful. Namaste!

Any chance of posting your international dates as well as the ones here in the US, Duncan? It is easier for me to be in France than any of your current touring cities!! Unless you come to Phoenix, then, of course I shall be SO happy ... Thanks for being amazing.

Hello~
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think that it is important that EVERYONE know that bobboo/Marissa/freakvox is still on the prowl and still lurking about this message board. In an act of sheer stupidity, I updated my profile LATE last night (aka this morning at like 2am). This morning I get an email from someone named Marissa Marchant with a return address for freakvox. I have no idea who this person is or what they want. I do know that I do not want to hear or read about their opinions concerning Mr. Sheik. I'm a 31 year old woman with kids and an ex husband and have a demanding job as a juvenile probation officer. I'm certain that by this time in my life I can form opinions all on my own. So, here is a word to the wise: DON"T post your email address for this person, place or thing to get! I am so sorry that I did. I have received several emails already from this person and the last one stated that I am "an obvious weirdo" Although I take no offense to this, I do have children that use this computer and sometimes happen to email their friends, so I don't need them to see someone writing uneducated opinions about their mother. They have enough to deal with just in the process of growing up. I know that in some cases it's already too late and that you already have posted email address, but if you haven't, DON'T!!!!! I'll get off my soap-box now. Thanks for listening.

Hello everyone in Duncan land.
I caught the first show of the tour in Minneapolis and it had a mellow,"love in " vibe to it.
Duncan, your guitarist really adds an amazing element to your show with his "soaring" instumental accompaniment!! It seems you are thriving with harmonious partnerships! Speaking of harmony I'd love to hear a bit more vocal accord in the live shows. (My humbled opinion)
Are you following along with the ACDC tour so you can continue the fun? Covers and left-over fans. Kidding :}
Also I read that you are influenced by a band called Talk Talk. Have you heard their album entitled "Laughing Stock"? To me, it is one of the most pristine, under appreciated albums ever. It seems to transcend time and break barriers.
Thanks for "Phantom Moon". It's beautiful. I'm new to your music and look forward to more of it.

Kathryn
