Hey everyone! I wanted to just add a note to tell you all that you should pick up the new cd, Phantom Moon, because it's one of the greatest cd's of all time. Duncan's melodies and lyrics are wonderful, as is all of the other cd's. I hope to see you out on the west coast, Duncan! IP: Logged |

courtney i couldnt agree with you more on what his music does to us, but even greater is that he is so humble in his presence, not cocky like every other american artist (some independent artists excluded). if your looking for more stuff like this i suggest you pick up bright eyes "fever and mirrors" album, its more of a raw feel being indie but connors lyrics and voice with make you smile your biggest, and cry your hardest at the same time. duncan and bright eyes are always in my stereo. carry on, matthew. Oh, my God--someone else loves Bright Eyes. I am a DJ at WPRB, and I swear I play Conor Oberst's stuff on every other show. It is fantastic. Buy "Fevers and Mirrors." And there's a new album out, "Oh, Holy Fools," which is a split album--half the songs of Son, Ambulance, and half Bright Eyes' stuff. Conor has such raw emotion and is completely brilliant. Thank you Matthew! I can't help but wax poetic when it comes to the music of the Sheik. Hopefully I will be able to tell him all of that in person when I see him play in April (FINALLY!). I'll look into the band you mentioned also... some of the CDs I own that I cannot live without were bought on the suggestions of fellow Donuts. Maybe we have another winner. Thanks... *Courtney* IP: Logged |

I know this is a little late, and said a million times over, but THANK YOU for getting the site up. It's beautiful. Just a question....what happened to the mouseover on Duncan on the Main page? Is it Broken? I kinda liked playing with it. ![]() ~Amber IP: Logged |

I know I can't delete this post, so I'll just edit it because of my hopeless attempts to have someone notice me in this horrid world, by the way, Duncan, you are my idol and have always has been, ever since I heard Barely Breathing on the radio a long long time ago. I have to agree with what some of the other people have said in here-I'm saying this because my other message didn't explain how I feel about you, Duncan. It's like I know you-yet I've never talked to you; although, in my mind it seems you are an old friend. My heart says I miss you but I don't know how that's possible because I never met you-and now I'm crying because I know that I'll probably never get to meet you because I seem so normal and simple and stupid-I'm such a fool. Duncan, let these tears have some meaning. My life has descenged to a lowly state of unhappiness with all that's going on right now, and meeting the one person on earth that knows something that the rest of us never realized, the one person who seems like he understands me when he sings; I would have a new life if I was actually talking to you. please contact me somehow-my phone number is 703-xxx-xxxx and, i know this post is useless, but there's no use in giving up is there? ...........Tell Stephen Sater that he did a remarkable job in helping you with Phantom Moon. [Telephone number removed - for your own safety, PLEASE do not post personal information on public Internet forums!] [This message has been edited by Webmaster (edited May 29, 2001).] IP: Logged |

Sorry - I don't reply here - but to FOREVER: You put something in that post that no one should ever put; it has to do with that 10-digit number...could get you in BIG trouble. I could be wrong, but I think there is probably a better way to get something to Duncan OTHER than posting what you did... You might want to consider editing out that particlar 10-digit number?? I mean this with all sincerity and a concerned heart... Take care, IP: Logged |

I just want to say that Barely Breathing is my favorite song and until I did a search tonight with whatever lyrics I knew, I had no idea of the name or artist of that beautiful song. Anyways, Duncan, you are truly talented to be able to create such a piece of art. lukette IP: Logged |
