Hi! I know that there was a post a few weeks back about going to the rave. I would love to get a group together to meet up. I'm really bummed though because I know for a fact that you can absolutely NOT bring cameras in or pens. I can NOT believe how strict The Rave has gotten. I only say this because when I saw the stroke show they took my pens from my purse. Absolutely ridiculous!! Does anyone know if he Indianapolis show is also with Ben Fold?? Is he going to be touring on his own ever?? Don't get me wrong, I like Ben alot but would love to see Duncan alone!! Birthday greetings to Duncan!! IP: Logged |

You might not have as much of a problem @ the rave with cameras for Sheik and Folds. The Strokes are a bit louder and attract roudy crowds..they are avoiding violence. Folds/Sheik audiences are usually older and more passive...also might take more offense to being searched @ the door. Sheik toured alone last year. I saw him @ the rave in August of 2001 and took many pictures and ALSO had a pen for him to sign stuff. He will prolly do some touring alone to support daylight after this Folds thing is done. have fun @ the Rave Im going to the Madison show this sunday (24th) at the Berrymore. Its sold out too...wowsers. Should be sweet! My lil duncan site www.duncansheik.org

The show in Indy is not with Ben Folds. It is with his old pal Lisa Loeb. Also there will be Sister Hazel, Lifehouse, And Dana Glover. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the info. I hope that is the case. I've gone to many shows there and The Strokes was the first one where they were such freaks. Hopefully that won't be the case on Sat. IP: Logged |

I'm going to the Rave show and my sister knows a bartender who might get me backstage. Last time I brought in a camera and took pictures so you never know. Email me if you want to meet.
