I was wondering if anyone knew if duncan will be selling t-shirts or pictures at the shows like they did during his last tour. I've been hearing they're selling daylight t-shirts, but only if you buy a CD though. So I was wondering if anyone who has been to the shows already knows if they will be selling any merchandise. We all know the store here STILL hasn't opened up. Anyway, if anyone has any info that would be great. Thanks a bunch.

Duncan had a shirt and the Daylight cd for purchase at the U of KY show. As far as I know, you could get the shirt without purchasing the cd.

At the University of Kentucky, he had a shirt...but to tell you the truth, it wasn't the best shirt in the world. It had a picture of a friend of his on the front, which in my opinion, look nothing relative to his style of music...it looked more grunge. hehe. The back had tour dates etc...As far as anything else, they just had his Day Light CD.

What do you mean, a picture of a friend of his? Who was it, do you know?
I hope they are selling shirts at the Detroit show because I still want to get one.

The shirt itself was actually kind of nice, whiteish/gray with a blue sleeve and neck band, and the tour dates on the back. The front picture was of someone with really long hair, with it all down in their face, playing guitar.

Tim asked Duncan about it, he might be able to fill you in better than I.

I asked Duncan who was on the shirt..."That isn't you is it?" and he replied with a laugh and said, "No, no, it is a friend of mine."
He didn't specify the name of the person. I would have asked, but I didn't want to take up his time too much because of the crowd of fans behind me. At first I thought it was Duncan, maybe way back in the the early days when he had longer hair, but it really looked nothing like him. Aside from that the guy looked like he was holding a red Gibson electric guitar and had a t-shirt and jeans on with long black hair draped over his face. I am thinking about going to one of the Ohio venues coming up on the 29th and 30th, I will ask him again there, if I get the chance. Although, I am not sure if it is a concert or just a radio show of some sort.

Hey Tim, if you decide to go to one of those dates, let a guy know eh Liz lives in Dayton, I'd be willing to bet we could use her apartment as a stopover.

The Boo Bash thingy is probably a multi artist concert thingy. :/ If the other date listed isn't a radio appearence of some such, maybe it'll be a 2 or 3 hour set.

Anyone on the list know who I might e-mail for more info on the dates?

Hey Guys,
I got on the website for the Boo Bash, and it looks like it's a concert. But it says the ONLY way to get tickets is to win them.
Here is there website...
http://www.wqal.com/

Thanks for answering my question about the shirt. I wonder who it is on the shirt. I wish I could see one.

Thank you for the link Tina.
I may try to call Q-104 and get more information about it. I can't really find a direct answer on the site about tickets. That would be an awesome show though. Duncan, Sixpence, and Nine Days.
The only thing the site talks about is giving the tickets away and winning them. If anyone else has some information on this, please let us know.

What's up with all this stuff about having to WIN the tickets? For the concert here, you also can only go if you win tickets. They call it "Acoustic lunch with Duncan Sheik" It's goin to be at a diner so that will be cool. Even if I don't win, I will still be there! Yea, I'd like to SEE someone try to hold me back from seein Duncan!!!
Jen

Oh yea, they are doin this acoustic lunch thingy every week. Next week is Sixpence, and a few weeks ago they had 9 days, how intersting!

I was at the New Orleans show last night. They had CDs for $15 and shirts for $20. On the front of the shirt is a girl holding a guitar and on the back are tour dates (which I assume include his headlining shows in 2003 since there were a total of 49 cities listed.

Did you get a shirt? Do you know what the dates were that were listed on the back? Just curious.
Thanks!

Yay!!!!! He is coming to Nashville!!! And to Atlanta and Memphis again. If tickets arent too much and the concerts are on weekends or dates I can swing, I hope to try to make the Atlanta and Memphis shows too. My husband rolls his eyes, lol. What can I say, I love his music and want to take advantage of seeing him play. And Yay for Tina-- you can see him too. He has a lot of cities listed, so maybe all of us will be satisfied!! Let's hope he keeps all those cities. If there are any Nashville fans out there, let me know-- maybe we can all meet, as my husband may not want to go and I just have to go. I cant wait!!!

If the person on the shirt is a girl, is it Samantha Ronson? She is supposed to be his friend and she is grungy looking. Just a thought.

I think I can hit Atlanta, Jackson, Memphis, and Nashville. I'm in Birmingham. Maybe we can meet up at some of the shows.

Yeah, don't you know that he's not coming anywhere NEAR Utah... Just my luck. And shirts were nowhere to be found when he came here. They weren't offered last year, either... *sighs* And the stupid store here in ds.com is NEVER going to be open. It's been blinking "coming soon" for years now... How aggravating.

That could be cool Ratboy. I went to the homepage you posted, but wasnt sure what it was or who you were. I guess you like the XFiles. That's cool. We'll keep in touch and look for Duncan's dates here in our region.
