Hey all, I just received this email from www.gemm.com that Duncan is playing in Reading, PA at the Sovereign Center on September 28th. I didn't see it listed on the calender on this website, but check out the venue's website. It looks like a huge place, and he's playing with a couple of other bands. www.sovereigncenter.com I'm not anywhere near PA, but it looks like maybe his tour is beginning. Tina IP: Logged |

Awesome! I am at school about 1.5 hours from Reading. Tickets are 20 bucks or so, but I think it's worth it! IP: Logged |

@!&^*%$ I'll be at the Kimmel Center seeing the Philadelphia Orchestra that night, ![]() doing Mozart and Strauss. You know where I'd rather be. Duncan you have to come soon to my home town you know, but I'll catch you soon..anyway. [This message has been edited by Blackwuzzy (edited September 22, 2002).] IP: Logged |

Hey Steve, Are you going? Denise and I were considering it, but we would have to give away our Concert series tickets that night to the Orchestra, or exchange them. Who are those other groups anyway????? Does anyone know when Duncan is scheduled to perform? What order? Yet a chance. IP: Logged |

Nope....false alarm. Turns out I don't really have the funds. Plus, I don't really like a couple of the other bands that are playing (Dishwalla, The Clarks) But actually, my biggest concern is the size of the arena. Maybe just the fact that it is an arena. I thing Duncan's music will get lost in a huge crowd like that. I saw him last week in Baltimore amongst a small crowd (150 people max.), and it was perfect. I fear that this show is some sort of "pop/rock and roll" movement for him, playing to large crowds and the like. But his music is far too precious for that setting. I think that's why I'm not going. Any thoughts? Agree, disagree? I might be off base here, lemme know. Peace, IP: Logged |
