ok, so after about 3 weeks or so of voting, it came down to Home vs. House Full of Riches. Home (15 votes) defeated House Full of Riches (9 votes) Therefore, Home is the winner of the Ultimate Duncan Sheik song contest! Congrats to Home and all of its supporters! I feel it only appropriate that the rest of this thread be dedicated to Home as an appreciation thread. I think Home is one of Duncan's most beautifully crafted songs and it gives me goosebumps everytime i hear it! edit: the file of the contest is available on my webpage. I totally agree. "Home", has to be one of the best lyrically written works as well as musically. I don't know how many times I have read the lyrics to "Home" as poetry readings. My girlfriend and I have even adobted the song as "our song" if we had to have one. IP: Logged |
