so in my impatience for daylight, i decided to pull phantom moon OFF the shelf and give it another shot. i have to say i enjoyed it much more this time around, BUT there are a few songs that ruin it for me. i have to skip them inorder to enjoy the rest of the album. i can't decide if i just don't like the songs or the fact that they don't go with the album . . . but i am happy to say it has been in my car cd player for whole week now. Yeah, I'm also curious. I think it's a perfect album. IF a song would ruin it for me, it would have to be Time and good forune... I love it, but it was if I had to choose. I love his sexy voice in this song!!! And the rest are brilliant, complete masterpieces!!! IP: Logged |

Mine is definitely Mirror in the Heart. Good song on its own, but does anyone else find the transition from This Is How My Heart Heard to Mirror In the Heart absolutely jarring? My strangeness. IP: Logged |

the cd is in my car which is at the dealership but as memory serves me . . . that mermaid song, and the country thing after it (don't get me wrong, i am a fan of kenny rogers, but duncan should stick to what he does best) and some song later in the album. i couldn't even give you a reference for it right now. also, i think that because i am such a straight forward gal who says whats on her mind that all in all the album is to poetic for me. i have never liked poetry much as it ALLUDES to what is being said instead of just saying it. its like on a high, dunc is not straight forwardly saying get a clue moron, but he is being CLEVER in his word choices and i always enjoy CLEVERNESS. and don't get me wrong, i do have an APPRECIATION for poetry, i was an english major and took shakespear and beowolf and all the rest. its an incredible craft and requires talent, its just not for me. anywho, i am glad i gave phantom another shot . . .
