How awesome is the cover photograph?!! I'm diggin' it very much. The soft tones, shadows, hues and reflected light are exquiste!! I'm takin a color photography class (which is killer btw-- getting color correct is an ass kickin' task) so I see the art of color in a totally different way. This shot actually gave me inspiration for my final project. I'm anxious to see who the photographer is. Man... I'm glad they used this shot and not the one when he's all wet as a cover. Yeah,I really like it too...when I first saw it I wasn't that thrilled and wanted the one where he's all wet,but I think it's because the first time I saw it it was a small picture where I couldn't see much detail...it looked a little plain.But when I saw it close up,my opinion changed.Duncan looks absolutely gorgeous and very soulful in the pic and his eyes look incredible with the light shining in them...almost magical. I wonder what the art will be on the back or in the booklet... IP: Logged |

I also love it. Especially his eyes. There are some crazy cool colors in them. I haven't seen the other picture but I'd like to. Where can I see it? When I first heard the title Daylight I thought of him with a guitar on his back and sitting on a beach barefoot with his pant legs rolled up watching the sunrise/set. He's sitting near the bottom right of the picture and the sun would be mid-way on the left and there are some clouds with a pink or orange tint on the top right. Hmmm. That would be nice. Oh well. ahhh...magical! Prefectly put. It totally is. I'm rockin' the dorkyness factor-- I made it my wallpaper already. Hey, lookin' at it again, I find it very reminiscant of the Wishful Thinking video, not to mention, the whole feel of Great Expectations. I like how it's kinda grainy and dark toned, yet still very detailed. Ahhhhhhhhh!!! Phew. I feel better. IP: Logged |

I agree, the cover art's beautiful. Doesn't it just totally characterize the feeling you get when you listen to his music? Sigh... I'm into photography too - it'll be interesting to see who shot this one. IP: Logged |

I'm not really impressed by it. I like the "Phantom Moon" cover better and it doesn't even have Duncan on it. The Albumn is great though! I love it! IP: Logged |
