HeRunsAway and I were discussing the new track. There are several modern day definitions of the word...but it all comes from an ancient Greek meaning.

A Chimeara was
"A fire-breathing she-monster usually represented as a composite of a lion, goat, and serpent"

Really it was used as any monster made from various components. Today the term is used to describe a dream/fantasy, and a species made from more than one. Both definitions are fairly straightforward in their relation to the original meaning.

Im banking that Chimeara is either about a very strong relationship where two people seem as one---or (more probably in my mind) about a woman who is just plain BAD...with so many different/conflicting components to herself.

What do you guys forsee?

hehe. Funny thing about Chimeara. I once called my ex-roommate that. My friends and I think she was actually bi-polar, among having other problems (like her boyfriend....). Yeah, I think you have the right idea about what one might expect from a song with that title. Shall be interesting to see what it is all about.
