"Wishful Thinking" has given me the itch to see the movie it's housed in, Great Expectations. So what I was wondering is if anybody has seen this movie and whether you'd recommend it or not. Also, does anybody know if the DVD contains the video for "Wishful Thinking", cause then I'd buy it whether the movie was good or not.

I saw Great Expectations and thought it was a good movie. Not to sure about the DVD thing, but yea, if anyone knows about that let us know. I'd definitely buy the DVD!

I can speak for the movie. It was good, not incredibly amazing, but very good. And yeah, rent it or watch it.

I think the DIRECTING in Great Expectations is the ABSOLUTE best I have ever seen in any movie. My understanding is that the director has not directed another film in English.

tdog.....Alfonso Cuaron has directed other english movies such as The Little Princess and will be directing the third Harry Potter movie. As far as the Great Expectations DVD goes, I do have it and I am sorry to inform you that there is no Wishful Thinking music video on it....I wish they did add it on though.
