I called the local pop radio station here in San Diego, CA, Star 100.7, and requested, 'On A High' and they played it less that 15 minutes later! How cool is that? After the song ended, the DJ had to remind the listeners: "That's the new single from Duncan Sheik, the guy that sang, 'Barely Breathing.' Remember that song? 'I am barely breathing...'"
If I'm not mistaken, this station is the only one here that still plays 'Barely Breathing' daily. Now the DJs can play two of Duncan's songs there.

Well dang it, why don't they start playing it in Colorado? I hate being in this vast music wasteland!! At least I did hear a Jeff Buckley song on the radio today. I have never heard one before and was quite thrilled.

I haven't heard "On A High" yet over here in the Baltimore/Washington area, but I will admit that I haven't listened to the radio that much. However, I did send an e-mail to the program director to one the Washington stations, and he said that he would try to get the song on the air. He finished the e-mail by saying, and I quote, "We're big fans." Are they big fans of Duncan in general, or "On A High" in particular. The answer is yet to come, take from it what you will.

If anything, its nice to hear radio stations play the new song, and do so before the release of the CD. Hopefully, radio will give "On A High" more air play as the release date for "Daylight" grows closer.

Ok .. I heard it a few times on a "pop" radio station in the NYC area on PLJ 95.5. The guy said, and I quote, " Very good stuff." I am glad that they have put it into their rotation ( I think they have).
