I have an intersting story that may prove that Duncan can save your life....

I was driving with my friend Jason, in my new car (a 2000 Grand Am) to see some friends about two hours away from my house. Well, we were listening to Duncan the whole way. But about halfway into the trip, there was an accident about two cars in front of me. The 73 Chevy Nova in front of me slammed on his brakes. Fortunately, I was following far enough behind to aviod smashing his bumper in by about 2 feet. In the midst of the freaking out, my friend Jason had dropped the CD case for "Humming" on the floor... As he reached down to pick it up by his feet, a Chevy SUV hit us at close to full force and smashed us at an angle into the Nova. We hit the rear bumper just right so that back end of the car hit the front passenger side. It knocked the rearview mirror off and it smashed through the passenger window... If my friend had not been reaching for the CD case, it would have hit him directly. Fortunately, he didn't have time to get up so he wasn't hurt except for a scratch or two. But, I firmly believe now that Duncan is definitly lucky...

P.S. No one was hurt in the 6 car crash...and my new car has minimal damage...the other cars were totaled. Thanks Duncan!! LOL

I knew it! I knew it all along! Well, I'm really glad you didn't say, "I was contemplating suicide when I heard a Duncan Sheik song on the radio..." That would have been horrible and exactly what I was expecting to see. I'm glad everyone was okay. I hate car accidents.

Crimeny Kat! Glad y'all are ok!!! that was NUTS!

I actually had a really funny experience with my Humming CD.

My sister took it and was taunting me by holding it out the window at 70 mph while I was driving. I was getting ticked, and I was yelling at her to stop it!

So it slips out of her hand just as I hit the brakes, and dang if it didn't fly right back in and smack her in the face.

I laughed my butt off. I had to pull over I was laughing so dang hard.

It was hilarious.

Seriously though. I'm SOOO glad you two are ok.

Thats just crazy.
