Hey, guys!! I'm glad someone re-posted about the Maxwells show. One of my good friends and I are definitely planning on going. Any idea on when we should get there? I know doors open at 7, but do you think they'd let us in early to eat? I'm such a freak that I like to get everywhere super-early to make sure I don't miss out on anything. Where are you guys coming from? I'm in Harrisburg, PA, so it's going to be a safe 4.5 hour drive for me and my friend. Any other general thoughts on the show? Do we want to try to set up a meeting? I think that'd be cool! Hey, Roz..... come to the show!!! It'll be awesome!! ![]() Meg IP: Logged |

Hey Springroz....and Meg, OK, bought the tics thru ticketmaster, but accessed it thru Maxwell's site.....they were $20 each.....Meg, My boyfriend and I are definately gonna go early, I was thinking that maybe they'd let us eat there too.....we figured we'd go and make a day of it, sort of. It's a little over an hour from us, so we figure we'll get there around 2, walk around, eat, etc......so let us know, maybe we could hook up!! Carly IP: Logged |

Crap! Mari, dangnabet, you are going. And that's an order. And you will tell Duncan how great he was afterward on my behalf since I only get to see him once every 2.5 years. That's IT for those of us not on the east coast. And it sucks. But I'm happy for all of you going. Wolfie. ![]() someone please be sure she gets to the concert for me? Geez! WhaDoIgottaDo?? I might be coming to the show!! I'm so excited! But I have a question, at Ticketmaster it says he is having 2 shows, one at 7:30, and one at 10. Does anyone know if he is? And does anyone know about the club? Do you have to be 21 to get in or anything? And can you purchase tickets at the door? Is it general admission? I need help! JEn IP: Logged |

Okay, Jen, no need to freak. As far as I know, there's only one show at 7, it's general admission, it's not exactly a club - more like a big restaurant bar-type place, but I'm not totally sure on that one. I'm underage (20 to be exact) and plan on going. I e-mailed Maxwells about the underage thing and there is no age limit, so you should be fine. As far as meeting, I would love to do that. It might help if we knew what everyone was wearing (something I've been debating about ever since my tickets arrived from Ticketmaster - by the way, thanks for the info on that one, Roz). As far as meeting, I don't know the place, so maybe we can just say as close to the stage as possible. Also, I won't be able to get to Maxwell's as early as you will, Roz, since it's a fair drive for me. My friend and I are going to leave around 1, but I have no idea when we'll get there. Possibly as early as five. Just so everyone knows, there should be tickets available at the door, but you should ask Maxwell's about availability. I know it was posted that tickets would be available at the door - at least, I'm almost positive about that. E-mail them, you'll get a quick reply. Thanks, everyone! Meg IP: Logged |

I read an ad in the New York Press and it say that there ARE two shows (7:30 and 10:00). It ALSO says that Micah Green is performing, which I just confirmed on his site, but the site only mentions a 7:30 show. Anyone speak with the club about this yet? IP: Logged |

Alright, if you guys look at Duncan's website under calendar, only a 7:30 show is listed. On the Maxwell's website, they list Duncan Sheik and Micah Green for 7:30. Ticketmaster lists two shows now, not just one. How wild. Now, why would Ticketmaster have two listings and not the website. I'm going to e-mail Maxwell's and ask them about this one. I'll let you guys know when I do.... Meg P.S. Did we ever decide about meeting? P.P.S. From my experience, Duncan's a little late... but that could have been a fluke. Not too late, just a little. As for Maxwell's...they usually have artists doing an early and a late show. #2) there is hardly a "stage" there. They have a small back room for shows... there is a long bench that sits along one side of that room and about 3 rows of raised benches (gymnasium style) in the back near the soundboard, that might be your best place to meet. And there's also a bar back there. IP: Logged |

Just wanted to let you guys know that I just got a reply from Maxwell's - man, those guys are on top of their e-mails!!! - and there are indeed TWO SHOWS: one at 7:30 and one at 10. It's just so weird that this site doesn't have it and neither did Ticketmaster for the past few weeks. Very very odd. But, for those of you who wanted to know, this is the deal. Meg IP: Logged |

Wow, 2 shows?? exciting... ![]() So.. who all is going to the show? Do you guys know if I can buy tickets at the door? I don't want to buy tickets in advance because I am currently without a license and I need to make sure I can talk one of my friends into a little road trip before I buy them. -Britt IP: Logged |

Parking shouldn't be too bad. Sunday night not too much bar business. If you find a spot on the street grab it! If you go all the way to the end of Washington St. (opposite side of town from the PATH Station) there is a huge outdoor lot. $10 or so to park. The other decks are nearer the train station and more expensive. IP: Logged |

Hey, sounds like quite a few Duncan fans are going to be there. I don't want to be in charge of a meeting, but I think it'd be a good idea. I don't know the place, but someone described the concert area as a sort of back room. Why don't we all just look for each other near the stage or something? Be sure to give us a description of yourselves and what you'll be wearing - that should help us find each other. By the way, tix should be available at the door - for those of you who are curious about that, e-mail Maxwell's and ask them about it - they reply very quickly. Also, for those of you new to posting to this thread, please peruse above posts so we don't have to repeat ourselves! Thanks!! Meg IP: Logged |

Hey, guys, are we still having a meeting or what? I'm hoping to get there an hour and a half before the concert, but it's hard for me to tell. I'm down in Harrisburg, PA, and am not sure how long the drive will take. But, if anyone wants to meet up before the concert, here's a physical description of me: 5'5", shortish (just below the chin) light brown hair with some blonde highlights, brown eyes, slender, with glasses. I'll probably be wearing all lavendar (a kind of clubbing outfit, cause I don't know what else to wear). I'll be with a guy with dark hair, about 5'9", dark brown hair (short), medium build, nice blue eyes. Dunno what he's wearing. Names of Megan and Dustin.. if you see me wandering around, feel free to say hi!!! I'll probably try to be as close to whatever "stage" exists as possible. Hope to meet you guys there!! Yes, I am totally excited about this show. I've been looking forward to seeing him for months and thought I had missed my chance (since I'm underage, which unfortunately means I can't share a "drink"). But now, I finally get to see him!! Just out of curiosity, about how old are you and what's your body type? (just to give me a better idea of who to look for. I'm 20, but look younger. I just got my hair cut and now it really is chin-length I'll be kinda dressed up in clubbish (sort of) clothes, cause I don't have anything intermediate to wear. I'll be sure to look for the tattoed Asian guy Anyway, hope to see you there!!Meg IP: Logged |

Happy friday 13th. all my friends pussied out on me. all said "sure" then today said "sunday? but i gotta sleep!" and i said "youre all babies who dont care about me!" and they said "true. but ill be a well rested baby". so, i will PROBABLY swing by the first show after work. how u will know it is me? well lets see. um, im brown. i will probably be the only brown person at a duncan show. (gotta represent!) ill probably be late and ill sit in the back of the room and scribble in my note book. I would buy a drink if the us government didnt say that i was too irresponsible to drink at my age. Im a very nice person. Come say hi. IP: Logged |

Well lets see.....I'm uh, 33, I know, say it out loud and I sound like some old freaky chik who likes to go to concerts still and is well whatever, my head still thinks I am 23 which is great.....the bod, sometimes feels like 103....oh well, c'est la vie!!! Anyway, I have a post baby body, so, it's "plumper" than I'd like....but all in all, I am pretty average.....Joel, on the other hand, will stand out, I am sure....He looks well, you'll see. I will not be wearing a clubbing outfit, since I don't even know what that really is, but I am looking forward to finding out!!! Mari, we are going to the first show too. Oh, and Meg, and Mari for that matter, Joel doesn't drink either, so we can all just toast with Ginger Ale.....OK??? I just got this great digital camera, so I am gonna bring it with us, and hopefully catch some great pictures..... Looking forward to meeting you guys, and put a face with all of these great posts!!!! See ya sunday.... IP: Logged |

Hey Meg, the show was great wasn't it?? I tried to look around for you a bit, but was obviously unsuccessful....bummer....How'd youlike the show, did you stay for the 2nd show as well?? Maxwell's a pretty cool place, but I think I prefer the Village Underground, did you happen to see the show there in April?? Anyway, here's to hoping a new date will pop up on that calander and we'll get to meet!! Carly IP: Logged |

Carly, yes the show was awesome!! Sorry I didn't see you, but I did look. As I posted elsewhere, I was front and center - decided on wearing a more casual dark green tank dress, though. Sorry I didn't catch you. No, I didn't stay for the 2nd show cause I had so far to drive home. NOpe, I wasn't lucky enough to catch the Village Underground, because it's a bit too far away. Maxwell's was almost there, but I made the trip because it was the only under-21 show during this tour I could make. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Where were you standing? Meg IP: Logged |
