Hey everyone! I just finished producing my first song on my computer, and, of course, it was a Duncan Sheik song. I recorded both the vocals and guitar seperately on my camcorder of all things...

.........uh i dont mean to be rude but i want to give you an honest opinion cuz i would want the same...First of all the guitar playing isnt eh great your playing the parts wrong...(if you would like e-mail me and i will send you little clips of the guitar parts the way they are supposed to be played...ill even do the slide parts if you like)Also the harmonies are just wow...:\
maybe you used that strumming pattern because it was solo guitar but still you should have double tracked the guitar instead of the harmonies...I can help you put it together much better..ok? e-m me if you want.

Hey I'm liking the version! I happen to like the strumming pattern...its not how Duncan plays it, but frankly, who said it had to be? Don't worry about the harsh criticism...you're only here to please yourself...if others don't like it, bah to them

Hey guys,
Thanks for giving the song a listen. I understand that I didn't play the song exactly the way Duncan did, but alot of it has to do with the fact that I'm using my guitar as a percussion instrument, and I raised the tempo a bit. I'll keep working at it, though and thanks for your help. I did write Kalia's Song for my girlfriend, but I'd love some criticism on that song too.
