Okay...I wasn't a HUGE fan from the start. I LOVED "Barely Breathing" and "She Runs Away", but an erratic life and low finances precluded me from buying Duncan's CD's. I came out to LA on a wing and a prayer in January of this year. I heard he was going to be at Tower Records to perform and sign CD's, so I broke down and bought "Daylight", despite my limited funds. Wanted to go to the show, but it was already sold out. I hung around for the autograph, only to say I met Duncan. I tried not to gush (since I'm 32) and played it cool saying "you don't have to write any bullshit" (on my CD). OH HOW I WISHED I HAD HEARD THE CD BEFORE I MET HIM!!! I can't stop playing it! I feel my heart chakra spinning, tears fill my eyes while a smile appears on my face. I feel this strange connection to Duncan now...and no, I'm not a psychopath. Music connects people. I'm so fortunate to have made that purchase that day.

Duncan, if you remember a girl with dark blonde curly hair in a coral polyester shirt that day, she wishes she could meet you all over again. Thank you for this beautiful work of art.

Peace.

P.S. I come from a Christian background; however, my belief system is more compatible with Buddhism (ie. a belief in reincarnation).
