Duncan,
I was at the Warfield on the 15th and I saw your show with Ben Folds. I think that is the most excited I have been in my entire life! You see, I am a freshman at UCDavis and it has been my dream ever since 8th grade to see you in SF--you're my favorite musician!!! And your show was absolutely amazing!!! (I was so glad you played Mr. Chess!) And when they said you'd be signing autographs I raced down there so I could get to the front. Little did I know that I'd get to shake your hand!!! I would have liked to have said something a little more intelligent than a giddy "I love you!!!" but I was so excited that I could barely remember the right name to tell you when you signed my shirt! (It's hanging on the wall in my dorm, along with the pictures I took.)
And, we saw people at Berkeley the next day who couldn't get over how much they enjoyed your show as well. Anyways, thank you Duncan for a great show. I still can't believe that I met you in real life-- My dream has come true!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! Love, Michelle

cool, another duncan fan from the bay area! I went to the show too and enjoyed it a whole lot, but his last show before this one was at Slims back in May of last year and he played a whole lot of songs, including Wishful Think and Home, which are my two favorites. Anyways, it's cool to know that there are other duncan fans here in the bay area. Hope to see you at the next show...
