Duncan, Just last night I saw you open for Ben Folds at Carnegie Mellon University. While I've always been a fan of your work, I was amazed at the quality of your live show. The live performance had far more emotion, and your guitar work was more pronounced. While the concert was billed as Ben Folds with Duncan Sheik & Ben Arnold, you put on a show that equaled Ben Folds' (and I consider myself to be a pretty big Ben Folds fan). After hearing and watching your show up close (literally, first row leaning against the stage) I feel compelled to suggest that you release a live album. Your fans who haven't seen a show are really missing out. Kevin Cohn IP: Logged |

I totally agree! The CMU concert was great! Before the concert, I only heard of "Barely Breathing." As soon as Duncan opened his mouth, I was a fan! I had no idea what I was missing all these years! After the performance, my roommate and I got our picture taken with Duncan. He was really cool to chat with. When I got home, I ordered the Daylight CD off of Amazon.com (without any problems). Hope to see you in Pittsburgh soon! [This message has been edited by SmileyJules (edited October 29, 2002).] [This message has been edited by SmileyJules (edited October 29, 2002).] IP: Logged |

Live at the Reservoir is an excellent CD. I highly reccommend it if you can find it. It has a very intimate feeling as all of Duncan's performances (that I've seen) do. IP: Logged |
