i've had no trouble finding Daylight out here in southern california! however...anyone else who tries might have trouble since i've been buying up all the copies and giving them to friends... hehe IP: Logged |

Hi Duncan. I am in Southern cal and i did not find that Best Buy has marketed you well. It was not even out with their new releases and it was in their flyer........they only had three copies too which is unacceptable. Also Target only had like 2 copies as well. We can't wait to see you soon!! The new record is amazing. Like we expected anything else from such a talented songwriter  Cheers and Love. IP: Logged |

Even in Way-out-here-nowhere-South-Dakota, yes, I am happy to report that I was able to find Daylight. The Best Buy ad was great to see, but, of course, no Best Buy here for miles. I found Daylight at the one & only local record store (hallelujah) in my small hometown on the very day it came out. Yea! Support your local record stores! Much love & Thanks for the music! Best Buy in South Jersey, Moorestown to be exact opened with 15 being put out. We bought & took 2 of them up to NYC, then found them on sale at J & R Music for the same price!!!!! As for my copy now? It stays at home only. IP: Logged |

All good here in North Miami Beach, Florida. In fact, Borders, my old place of employment has about ten copies for about 10.99..good price...but Best Buy down the way has them for 8.99!! Great Prices!!!!!!!!!!! thanks so much! ida IP: Logged |

Yesterday, I went to the Providence Place Mall here, in Rhode Island. First stop was Newbury Comics which had Daylight featured on the wall of their new releases. There were about 5 copies left. Then I went to Borders and it was in the new release section as well. Maybe 10 copies there. Hopefully it will be put in their listening station. It looked like Daylight was selling well. I am proud to say that my work place (tower records) has been doing a good job of promoting Duncan's new album. I think this may partially due to me playing the promo in the store every chance I get. People are always asking me about him. IP: Logged |

Here in the Philippines, I've searched in major record stores in almost the whole metro but I wasn't able to get one. I asked customer reps on any release date info and only one had the slightest idea what I was talking about. He said that the local ditributor of Atlantic that only priority artists are given the same local release date simultaneously with the US release date. Clearly, Mr. Sheik isn't on the priority list. When I asked about those not prioritized, he said that release date ranges from two weeks to a month. It has been three weeks since the US release date. But I've organized a bunch of friends to keep on inquiring about Daylight. I just hope that the local distributor and record stores get the message. IP: Logged |

Well, I finally ended up buying it online at Amazon. Admittedly, I didn't really check too many record stores in town (San Antonio, Texas) but the two I did check didn't have it yet.

Hey Duncan! Just saw you at Grey Whale in SLC, Utah. You were amazing... (as if anything less would be expected...) Anyway, just wanted to let you know I did have a bit of a struggle finding a copy of Daylight here in Orem. But, after many hours of searching, I found a lonely little copy in Kmart. I went on the day it was released, and a few of the stores said they didn't think they'd gotten their shipments yet.. I didn't go back to check if they had any, but I will now! Muwahaha. Take care... Daylight is BRILLIANT!!! I love it. Like the duncan addict that I am, on August 27th i went to some stores in my area. One didn't have it, another had already sold out... i had to wait a whole week! Now, i have 2 copies, a backup for when i wear out the first. Duncan, thank you for coming to SLC on the promo tour. i am disappointed to see you are not coming back with Ben Folds... but i will be home in oregon for your concert in portland!!! see you there. ps- do you think you'll be able to go to Vegas this time?? Hello! I bought the debut album and "phantom moon" some time ago. Since watching the video to "On A High" on yahoo I am trying to find "Daylight" in Germany - didn't found it even amazon.de doesn't offer it. My question: was the album released here in Germany? I'm having troubles, yes, in finding daylight on stores... here in Brazil they said i would have to order the cd, and it would cost more A LOT more than a regular cd (19,90 regular; 79,90 ordered Daylight)... well, i hope something happens (i neeeeeeed to buy the cd!!!)
