Cyndi--"Longing Town" and "Far Away" are the two songs I obsess over most on Phantom Moon! I love the lyrics you quoted...I also love "watching the shadows drifting down twilight descends, so blue so brown and longing begins in this longing town..." This song really conveys a sense of aching/wanting/emptiness that is so beautiful! IP: Logged |

Cyndi, I couldn't agree more regarding that lyric. I remember the first time I heard it, I got a lump in my throat, and thought I would cry, and then when I heard Duncan sing it for the first time, I actually got choked up again........the words are so thoughtful,and he sings them with such sincerity(sp??) Anyway, that is one of the lines on the PM cd that most touched me..... Thought I'd share!!! Peace--- IP: Logged |

Yeah, "Longing Town" and "Far Away" are probably my favorites on PM too. I always listen to Longing Town two times (at least) before moving on to the rest of the cd.  They are just so pretty. Lightly lilting along... very nice.  -Steph IP: Logged |
