Calvin924First of all i'd like to say that I'm a newbie to this, and i look forward to talking with everyone.

I've got a burning question i have to ask.
Where did the song "Now or Never" come from? I downloaded it and absolutely love it. It has to be in the top 5 of his songs for me, but where did it come from? Anybody have any insights?

Thanks a bunch,
-Cal

BryterLayter77Welcome to the board, Calvin!

"Now or Never" came from the "Boys and Girls" soundtrack. If I'm not mistaken, Duncan didn't write any part of the song. I don't have the CD in front of me, but I think the song was written by the songwriting team of Rich and Rubin.

I hope this helps.

Richard

sweetsnailyep. I happen to have the cd cover in front of me. Written by Denise Rich, Joshua Rubin and produced by Duncan Sheik. (I could add he performed it, but I bet you already knew that...) Honestly, it's not that bad of a cd. Minus a few songs, it's quite decent. hehe. I've never seen the movie, but I have the soundtrack!

BryterLayter77I've never seen the movie, but from I understand, it was a typical Freddie Prinze, Jr. movie: Terrible. As his late, great father would say, and I'll modify, "Loooking bad!"

Richard

DUNCANStwirler7Yep, it's on the "Boys and Girls" soundtrack, but it isn't in the movie. Can I ask why they put songs on soundtracks but not in the actual movie?

galore4It is, it is! The song is in the movie; just very, very faintly when the main characters are in their apartment doing... yoga. I think. (I saw the movie ages ago in the theater JUST because Duncan's songs was in it.)

Even though I'm embarrassed to say, I actually kinda dug the film. And trust me, I'm not one of those tennybopper types who enjoy crappola, but this was somewhat entertaining. I was surprised to say the least.

But, you're totally right, I absolutley ADORE that song. His voice resonates with such vibrancy.

Maria

DUNCANStwirler7I thought Duncan said that it wasn't in the movie. Maybe I'm confusing it with another movie, but still, I will have to watch the movie again, thanks Maria!
