Candice	this cd is never going to leave my cd player... NEVER!!! i am completely in love with it and i don't care if i never listen to another artist again! this is one of THE BEST cd purchases i've ever made. none of the songs are a disappointment and i love them all... i must say though that "half-life" and "shine inside" have me hooked the most... WHAT AM I TALKING ABOUT?!!! THE WHOLE ALBUM HAS ME HOOKED! i love this...
cclee76	I couldnt agree with you more. Before Duncan, I was hooked on John Mayer and had seen Mayer in concert in Memphis the same weekend Duncan was there (also saw Duncan). However, John has been replaced (sorry John) and I cant get enough of "Daylight". Let's see-- I bought it I think around Aug 28th and cant take it out of my CD player. All the songs are great!! I dont know if I will ever be able to listen to anything else for quite a while. I guess I'm a little obsessed, but I love the music-- melodies, harmonies, chords, etc. Cordia
Skyscraper	I have easily rated this as my favorite Duncan CD. Even though I am a big Duncan Sheik fan, there are songs on his previous CD's that I find myself skipping over every time I play. Daylight has become one of the rare CD's in my whole collection that I can listen to from start to finish and thoroughly enjoy the uniqueness of each and every song.
Candice	i couldn't agree more... it's funny, at first i thought "nah, his debut album is still my favorie" but i can't tell anymore! i'm simply in love with this album. duncan is the only artist (even as far as bands go) whom i own every album by (well, my friend has bought (i hope) phantom moon for me so i don't quite have it yet). other than that i don't purchase cds. my dad is in the music industry so i just grab whatever he gets. but with duncan i actually wanted all of his albums and i can listen to all of them. i can't do that with other artists/bands. but yes, this album is definitely a favorite. ------------------ ----}--@
Kait Sylphiel	hehe... I love it too, more than S/T I even got my friend to buy it! He heard me playing it to him all the time and says, "damn, that's a good CD!" I was so proud :P
SCMaddog	I love this CD, however I am greatly dissapointed in Track 9. I thought they were doing great until they dropped the f-bomb out of nowhere! What's with that??? I love CD's with no swear words in it, and having just one in this one (especially their choice of the f-word) just brought the quality down for me. I love that song after Track 11 ("Shine Inside") -- it sounds so cool! By the way, does anyone know what that song is called???
scottmac	This CD is amazing, and does not leave my CD player either. Loop and repeat pretty much sums it up. As for the f-bomb? It worked lyrically, didn't bother me in the least, didn't seemed forced but almost a quite natural fit, and went very appropriately with the song. This is the first CD in a while, which I like ALL of the songs. Thanks for not putting out a piece of garbage like so many artists do (in my opinion... as musical tastes vary). I find it a nice change to not drop money for something which only has 3 or 4 good tracks on it. -Scott-
Astral Chanteuse	I must agree with you whole-heartedly. Those 2 tracks are probably my favorite as well. What do you think about the addition to "Shine Inside"? nondee	ooo.... you guys are so lucky...i couldn't find daylight in my country =( (indonesia)...so i thin i have to buy it online =P i so can't wait to hear his newest songs!!i love halflife and on a high !!!!!!
Candice	ASTRAL- i agree, i love "chimera" (a.k.a. poor scorpio boy). it's a great song... duncan is an amazing musician!!! SCMADDOG- sorry i didn't answer earlier!!! the song after track 11 is called "chimera" NONDEE- sorry to hear that! but yes, definitely purchase it online! well worth it!
