I saw a great artist last night here in Austin named Alexi Murdoch. His new record is coming out in the next couple of months and I’m sure it will be the bee’s knees …

Hi! I know this has nothing to do with the treadh but it?Ls a chance to show you all (specially Duncan) this song I wrote with a friend of mine. She sings and I?Lm on the guitar. Please take the time to listen to it, it?Ls a very raw take (with just 1 mic) but I think it sounds pretty good.
Next week we?Lll get into the studio with me as a producer.
I?Lll love to get your opinion about the song (specially Duncan?Ls!)

I?Lm a fan of Duncan since I heard “Barely Breathing” for the first time back in 1996. But it was recently when I got all the albums. Now I can?Lt stop listening to them!

Hey Duncan,
I told you about Alexi a couple of years ago….maybe longer at your Old Board…..I’ve seen himn 2 or 3 times already. Yeap, we have been waiting a long time for his new CD to finally be released….Other than that, I do have his 4 Songs CD….which is great…and he’s quite a very nice young Man as well. You should pay…closer attention.

His song ‘Orange Sky’ is beautiful. It’s been used on a few soundtracks (OC Mix Vol 1, Ladder 49) and it was used in ‘Garden State’ (my favorite movie of last year) but it didn’t make the soundtrack. I know Alexi has a ep available online.
Anyone like the Cary Brothers?

I’ve heard only one of the Carey Brothers songs off of the Garden State Soundtrack. Song and soundtrack are great. Can’t seem to find their site though.

You can go to www.carybrothers.com and you can download songs and a lot of other stuff. I’m not sure about alexi. Cary Bros. ep is available at most Barnes and Nobles and other good independent stores. Only 4 songs long but really good.

Yeah. Cary Brothers’ song on Garden State is really good. I believe he’s a singer/songwriter, as in one person. I know a guy who knows the guy.
