Peter and I just had dinner with Todd (our most excellent web-designer) and we have a few new ideas that we are going to implement over the next couple of weeks. For one thing, the “members only” area is coming together and it should be up and runnning very soon. Also there will be an “upcoming shows” section for, well, upcoming shows (Chicago, August 6th, for example). And some other information kinds of things. Sorry to be vague but I’m sleepy. Anyway, have a great weekend.

After missing the show in Farmingdale, NY earlier this year (I had my ticket and everything) because my !#@^&* boss wouldn’t let me take off early to fly up, I am *definitely* going to this one… how do I get tix? Is there a show website? Ticketmaster’s been my only window into Duncan sightings (til’ I happened to check ds.com today and found the blogs!) and they gotz nutthin’.

I’m so happy to have found this website and this blog. A Chicago gig on August 6th? Excellent! I have a sister in Illinois and one in Milwaukee who both have their b-days on August 4th (four years apart.) I think this gives me a wonderful excuse to flee Washington, see the siblettes, and hear the fabulous Mr. Sheik in person. This gives me ample time to start looking for a reasonably-priced plane tickets now… And I have this hotel credit in Chicago after a very bad stay at a very good hotel with a rambunctous delegation of Russian doctors… Hee.

august 6th?! nooooooo! i go to college in chicago and i’m going to be back home in jersey then. i really hope you plan on either coming back out to chicago after august or playing somewhere in new york or new jersey this summer. i’m really excited to see how this members only section is going to pan out. can’t wait to hear these “unreleased tracks”.

Frankly, this woman amazes me. How does this relate to Duncan? Well, I’ve been going through all of the past albums in mock preperation for the next cd. Ironically, I don’t have a favorite album… only favorite songs. Does anyone else have this dilemma? When someone asks me to recommend a ’starting place’ for this music I have to think long and hard about it. There are no easy answers here.
